1. Zero Tolerance
PokerNexus prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. No one may use the Service to upload, share, link to, request, or promote child sexual abuse material (CSAM), to sexualize a minor in any text, image, or other content, or to groom, solicit, extort, traffic, or otherwise endanger a child. This applies everywhere on the Service — posts, forum threads, comments, direct messages, profiles, and uploaded images — and applies equally to content created elsewhere and shared here. There is no warning before removal and no exception for content someone claims is a joke.
2. Who Can Use PokerNexus
PokerNexus is built for adults. You must be 18 or older to register, and the registration form requires you to affirmatively check a box representing that you are, separate from and in addition to your acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This is enforced at the API level, so no account can be created without it, and we retain the timestamped record of that representation on the user's account, the same way we retain the record of Terms and Privacy Policy acceptance. This is not an age-verification system — we do not independently confirm anyone's age — but it gives us a real, affirmative record distinct from the general terms of use. We do not knowingly direct any part of the Service to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If we determine that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it, along with any other account we determine belongs to the same person, whether we learned this through a report, through our own review, or through a request from the user's parent or guardian.
3. Reporting Content or a User
Every profile, post, forum thread, comment, tag, and venue carries a report option. Choose it, select the reason that fits best — Inappropriate Content is the right choice for anything involving a minor — and add whatever detail will help our moderators act quickly. You do not need to be the person directly affected to file a report, and you do not need to be a registered user of the Service to raise a concern by email.
The same menu offers a block option, which hides that person from you and you from them. Blocking is not a report, so where a report is warranted, please do both.
You can also write to us directly at support@pokernexus.com. Reports involving a minor are reviewed ahead of every other queue, and every report is reviewed by a person — we do not rely on automated filtering to make this decision.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first. In the United States, you can also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
4. What Happens After a Report
We review child-safety reports as our highest priority. Where a report is substantiated, we remove the violating content, permanently terminate the account responsible along with any other account we determine belongs to the same person, and preserve the relevant evidence as required by law. Where the law requires it, we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with the relevant law enforcement authorities' investigation.
5. Discovering a Minor on the Platform
Apart from CSAE material itself, we separately treat the discovery that an account belongs to someone under 18 as requiring prompt action, whether or not any other violation is involved. On confirming this, we disable the account, remove the profile and content associated with it from view, and, where a parent or guardian has contacted us, work with them on any further step the law requires, such as deletion of information collected from the child. Accounts removed on this basis are not permitted to be recreated.
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement and Regulators
We cooperate with law enforcement investigations and with lawful requests from app store platforms and regulators concerning child safety, consistent with applicable law and our own legal obligations. Our point of contact for these requests is legal@pokernexus.com.
